Ladybower Reservoir

Yeah.

I was thinking myself in the daylight, honestly, Jen, this is hilarious, but I was trying to get parked up by Lady Bower Dam.

And if you know the Heather Dean car park people, anyone listening, you know that it's tough to get into that car park.

And it's about an hour and 20 minutes drive from where I am.

But it's dead interesting.

And another story that we were talking about coming across stories is There's one out near us, actually, on Derwent Edge near Ladybower, where an old story from the 19th century.

And it was in the news in the 1980s, I think, when a teacher saw a spirit up on that edge.

And it was of a... young farmer who was apparently out collecting his sheep to bring them to lower ground during the blizzard, got caught out in the blizzard and died of hypothermia.

Okay.

And it runs from, um, Ladybower Reservoir, right at the top of the, of the valley end-

... up in the, up in the Peak District, where the big reservoir is, and then it, it finishes at the m- at the, in the Trent, about three miles south of Derby.

Yeah, it's point to point along the edges in Derbyshire Peak District, not too far from where we live.

Yeah, it starts at Ladybower.

So, yeah, it was good.
