Well, my planet is tidally locked, so there's a side that's always in darkness.

That's where I'm from.

For generations, we were horribly subjugated by those who live on the sunlit side of the planet, and then one day the sky was full of starships.

Crock came to our planet and fought with those of us on the dark side to free ourselves and make the planet a place where we could all live together.

So was that a rebellion? If so, were we called terrorists until we won, or were both sides just conquered by a charismatic man with a fleet of ships? Depends on your perspective.
