Of course, we had La India and Mark Anthony.

So I love when that happens, when a band brings in a different singer.

It just changes everything.

I went to see La India here in the Bronx at Lehman College.

And they were like, you know, La India and Luis Figueroa.

And I wasn't very familiar, you know, with your work or who you were.

And I was like, okay, she's got somebody with her.

And you killed it.

As you talk about it, my hands get sweaty because there's a responsibility that goes into, one, I'm going on India stage, right? This is my titi.

And also, there's the, what keeps this music alive is the nostalgia.

So, especially in Latino culture, I mean, there's not a Sunday or Saturday that passes by that one of my tías or my mom or whoever, my father, that we're cleaning up, And they're playing La India in the background.

There's not a birthday party where you don't hear Gran Combo.

And every birthday party back in the day, you will hear Gran Combo.
