So this starts with an April 1974 issue of Playboy, interestingly enough, where journalist Larry L.

King writes an article about the closing of the Chicken Ranch, which is a real brothel that operated outside LaGrange, Texas from 1905 to 1973.

ZZ Top wrote their song LaGrange about it, a.k.a. How How How, the song.

Yeah, I had you listen to that right before we started because it's like, do you know about that little shack out in Texas outside the Grange? Like they got these girls there, blah, blah, blah.

It's a song about the same brothel that this for a real brothel that this Playboy article was written about.

It was never not going to be too soon.

So, by the way, this musical is based on a true story in which an investigative reporter named Marvin Zindler closed down the Chicken Ranch brothel in LaGrange, Texas in 1973.

By the way, That brothel, the chicken ranch, is the song that ZZ Top is singing about in the song La Grange.

So it's got a real, this true story has a rich history in music as well.

A LaGrange man accidentally shot himself in the groin on Saturday, August 22nd.

LaGrange police and Fayette County EMS got a call from a residence on East Camp Street shortly after 8 p.m. Police Chief David Galbraith said they found a 49-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his groin.

Boy, it was a bad month for 49-year-olds.
