La Gran Chichimeca

So I really like that.

I know some anthropologists refer to it, especially in Mexico, they just call it the, um, the Gran Chichimeca.

Mm-hmm.

Right.

Um, but yeah, I, I, I dig it.

I like the idea of Aztlán.

But I think the Gran Chichimeca, uh, would be east of Aztlán.

The way that I understand it is that the place that Aztlán, uh, that Forbes called Aztlán was sort of north of Mesoamerica and, and east of the Gran Chichimeca, but with some overlap, of course.
