L. Q. Jones

And yes, Peckinpah had, uh, Warren Oates.

He had L.Q. Jones.

Strother Martin.

Mm-hmm.

[laughs]

You know? And, um, love that character.

And you start, you start picking people out, like, L.Q. Jones is in, like, everything too.

But, um, I think the- I just knew there was something else going on, and as I studied Peckinpah, and then I realized the very first thing I was on the internet.

I mean, so we left off with Bob Dylan, but then you've also got like RJ Armstrong, which I think people might not know the name, but they know that dude's face.

Um, you've also got Jack Elam, um, who a lot of people probably know from what cannonball run to, um, LQ Jones is another very, very distinctive face.

Yes.

Slim pickings.

And let's see, you've also got, I think, what, Bruce Dern in an uncredited role, and then Sam Peckinpah himself, right?

Yes, that's right, as a kind of coffin maker.

Yeah, it's just, I mean, all these dudes, like, again, as much as I'm pumping up modern filmmaking, I think the one big criticism I can make is, like, you look at a guy like LQ Jones, he looks like a guy that if you took a, you know, got in a time machine and went back to the old west, he looks like a guy you'd see, whereas a lot of times, you know, And I mean, he was a normal, you know, looking guy.

And I think, you know, and this goes back to all the way to Slycast.
