7:57
Very, very different.
7:59
Um, but it's, it's different from songwriting, and it's different from TV and film, just 'cause, um, you're...
8:05
I don't know, the, especially with the story of Lost Boys, you're creating a story with a bunch of people.
8:09
It can be really easy to kinda just, like, put yourself at the center of it.
8:12
But you have to really realize, like, it, it's a whole story that's being told.
8:16
And, like, I was so scared in the beginning, 'cause it's my Broadway debut, and you're leading a musical, that, like, it's all, like, on your shoulders, and you just have to be on 24/7.

What I would do to you, baby.
11:22
Let's hear.
35:20
Can you tell us what that was and what that meant to you?
35:23
Long story short, my grandpa used to distribute programs in New York, uh, before I was even born, and the Palace was one of those theaters-
35:31
Oh
35:31
... we think.
35:31
Later in life, uh, when he was on his deathbed, he told my mom, he's like, "He's gonna do something one day." And we had no idea what that was or the fact that I would be leading a show at the Palace.
35:42
And I don't know, I just think i, i- in a musical that's all about family, it kinda comes full circle.
35:47
You, whe- whether it's the family you belong to or the family you get to choose.
4:49
When you settled down, you said, "Oh, I got the job," what went through, went through your mind next?
4:55
I actually walked to Times Square, and I walked to the theater.
4:59
And, um, I sat outside of it for a really long time.
5:02
Um, I've talked about this in a couple interviews, but my grandpa used to distribute playbills in, uh, in New York at different theaters.
5:08
And honestly, I just sat there kinda just thinking about him.
5:10
Didn't really have a relationship with him growing up.
5:12
I knew him when I was really, really young.

15 MINS LATER

20:01
David the vampire?
ShoHOST
2:09
... who would it be, and what are you singing?
2:11
Oh my gosh.
2:13
Anybody on Broadway right now? What shows are on Broadway right now?
ShoHOST
2:43
That could happen.
2:44
Okay, let's do it.
2:45
I've always loved to, I've always wanted to play Cole House, and I'm sure Josh Henry would always wanna play Chessmaster.
2:50
[laughs]
1:34
Everything.
1:34
Appreciate it.
1:35
That's Ghost Artifacts from Aaron McManus.
1:36
Just want to throw that out there.
1:37
There you go.
1:39
It's wonderful.
1:39
It's really, really wonderful.
1:56
How do you feel? Like, is it, like, pinch me, how did I get here? Yeah, a thousand percent.

31:07
that's amazing
31:09
oh great he was like he was like look around you've Keep study right now.
31:15
And he was like, see if you need it later.
31:16
I was like, okay.
31:19
But I did a lot of theater growing up.
31:20
So I was, I was, I was familiar with that, but then I shifted a lot to TV film and then my own personal music, um, in, in high school.
31:28
And then, um, the dog with a blog and that kind of got me like everything I ever wanted.
33:21
Yeah,
