What is the for- face you're making?

You're gonna talk about the Titans tight ends and you're not gonna mention Kyle and Granson? [laughs]

So I s- I mentioned it as a Kyle and Granson revenge game.

Yeah.

And he's like, "Oh, I, I always loved Kyle and Granson."

Yeah, I was always a big fan of Kyle and Granson.

[laughs]

I said, "What?" I looked at, uh, I looked at my text, and I was like-

Their new acquisitions on the edge have more impact in the pass game, and our O-line is healthy.

Plus, we have a better blocking tight end unit this year with Dallas Goddard, Johnny Munt, and EJ Jenkins than we did with Goddard, Granson, and Calcaterra.

This is not me saying that I don't think there's a possibility of an even division of the run in the pass game.

I think balance is key, but the birds are looking to reestablish themselves as a dominant rushing team and going against a team that has a significantly weaker run defense.

Do you believe the roster, how much progress do you think they've made on the roster this year with the additions that they've made, knowing that they're going to have to get it a lot from new players and young players?

I mean, I think they've made progress, but I think if you're looking at them from the outside, from a national scope, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that while they are better, what they are better than was really, you know, basement barrel, basement level stuff, right? So being better than last year's tight end group, say, after Che Gaconquo, who was very limited blocker, It's not that much of an accomplishment, right? Is Granson making your tight end group better much of an accomplishment? No, it's not.

Is Austin Schloteman and Fernando Carmona as a pass blocker making your offensive line better a significant accomplishment? I mean, I think the significant accomplishment comes there maybe in the run game, and maybe I'm believing big in J.C.

Latham.

I mean, he could give you, like, that power forward slot, but...

With that, or even the tight ends, Gunnar Helm, you know what I mean, David Martin Robinson, Kyle Granson, you know, you're getting that power forward.

You could body a guy up.

But chances are in those types of situations, they're just going to go big nickel, drop a safety down there to match up with the tight end, and it's done.

And then in addition to that, you could turn around and, like I said, have him run the football when need be.

So that makes sense, having him on the roster.

I like the four tight ends, right, because here's the thing, right? You're going to see – Martin Robinson and Granson, even Bellinger, not as much to a lesser degree, but more Granson and Martin Robinson.

Whoever's active, there's going to be one of those two guys active.

Let's go to tight end.

Last year, the Eagles keep Dallas Goddard, Grant Calcaterra, and Kylan Granson.

This year, it is Dallas Goddard, Johnny Munt, EJ Jenkins, and Eli Stowers.

Which one of those tight end rooms do you think is better? Well,

And I mean, that's not just about the touchdowns.

His production, his yards was better last year.

And so he's your headliner, but you bring in Johnny Munt, versus Calcaterra and Granson.

And although a lot of, although I think tight end is one of their weaker position groups, I do think it has improved from last year.
