But who, you know, who, who are you and, and how did you get into this world? And then I'd love to kinda dive a little bit deeper about Belay.
1:08
Yeah, love it.
1:09
So my entire career, I feel like I've been surrounded around small business owners, and I put real estate in that same capacity.
1:15
Uh, I've been a, a founder of small business, uh, myself as well, but really have found my passion in supporting small business owners and really giving them the support that they need to keep growing their businesses.
1:26
So I've done that in the capacities of, I actually worked for a company called StoryBrand, uh, if anyone's familiar with that.
1:31
That's, uh, has a, a marketing framework to help people really learn how to communicate and then have, uh, found that same passion, uh, to be driven through Belay around just our fractional remote staffing solutions that we have, and just realizing that people are working really, really hard to drive and grow their businesses.
1:47
And a lot of times kind of start to hit that ceiling at some point to say, "You know what? I need help.

9:17
Can I just have Mary and have her kind of absorbed as like a real true full-time employee?" Or does Belay kinda stay with you for the longevity of it all?
19:35
So for those people, what is your approach? Is it that the goal is to get these people to 120% of what you're capable of achieving? What is the benchmark as it relates to the quality of work that they're doing?
19:49
Well, I will say time is your most valuable resource and you can't get more time.
19:53
However, what we're talking about today is using money to buy back your time, right? And so when we're talking about cleaning the fryer or when we're talking about writing an email that is in your voice, I also want to just help our audience understand, hey, a virtual executive assistant cannot take cleaning the fryer off of you.
20:14
However, whoever does clean the fryer, it does not need to be the owner.
20:18
It doesn't have to be done at 120% of how good the owner is going to clean that fryer.
20:23
It might need to be done at 50% to 70% of that, and that is just good enough.
20:27
But whoever that employee is that's cleaning the fryer, they might have also some love.
23:37
So talk to me about what like the free flow looks like within an organization, how the information goes back and forth and how you teach and coach business owners to no longer be the bottlenecks in their business.
19:35
It was what had happened to him while he had been waiting to be found, out there in the deep, turbulent sea.
19:42
What happened in that water for me personally was even more significant.
19:46
I had been in a season of deep discipleship at my church with our pastor, our associate pastor.
19:53
He had been pouring into my life in a really special way.
19:56
Um, in some weeks, we would be together seven days a week, uh, just doing life together, discipleship, Bible study.
20:03
And I would say, would have said I was a Christian at that moment.
20:06
Uh, um, I think from my lips I would have said that.
24:24
So here's Kyle talking about it.
7:22
How do we get in a few layers deeper into the, what do we give them and like, how do we actually give it to them?
7:28
Love it.
7:29
There's so many different areas that we could go here, but I was trying to think of something that would apply to most all of our audience today.
7:34
And I'm thinking about whether you do quarterly reviews, annual reviews, whatever that looks like with your current clients.
7:40
Let's talk through maybe what could that look like before having an executive assistant and what could that look like after having an executive assistant? So as your book of business continues to grow, if you're handling all of that right now without any level of administrative support, you're most likely, you're going into whatever the the tech stack you have, the CRM that you have, Orion, Black Diamond, ClientWorks, whatever that might be for you.
8:03
You're pulling performance reports, you're updating what those kind of outputs look like, maybe building the agenda, actually scheduling those meetings or trying to batch some of those meetings together with some of your clients.
8:16
That's all just before the meeting, right? And now you're showing up for the meeting, which again, I would kind of lean in to say, hey, that's actually, that's the superpower that you have.
