If you could give us the rundown of where you started and how you got to where you are now, and then we can get right into the depth of all the things that we're gonna share.
1:06
Lovely.
1:07
Yeah.
1:07
Well, thanks for having me on, Ian.
1:09
So really, it began like so many of us in the space, where I had my own health collapse.
1:13
Uh, so I had never really felt fully healthy or embodied or fully clear.
1:17
I always had this kind of low-grade dread, depression, anxiety, brain fog that, that couldn't quite put a finger on.

28:36
Wonderful stuff.
2:31
But what happened and how did you finally figure out what was going on? Sure.
2:35
Yeah, well, my story kind of happened similar to so many others where it was gradually and then all at once, right? So throughout most of my life, even though I looked pretty healthy from the outside, I was always kind of feeling not quite right, kind of derealized, not very present, very anxious.
2:53
I slept a lot.
2:54
I'd sleep like 14 hours a day.
2:56
There was just something off.
2:57
But I was still able to perform and be an athlete in high school.
3:00
And then at 18, it was a big emotional stressor that really just was the straw that broke the camel's back.

25 MINS LATER

28:18
So what would you recommend to someone in that particular situation?
6:01
But it's a fascinating topic, and I don't think we can dive into, um, exactly what people can do to heal without hearing your own personal story, 'cause it sounds like you really went through it at a quite young age.
6:11
age.Sure. Yeah.
6:13
I, I really feel like I've been through the full spectrum of health in this lifetime, uh, where when I was really young, you know, I ha- I was already born with some kind of subclinical symptoms, so anxiety, uh, brain fog, kind of disassociation, not quite being able to perform properly, like sleeping a lot more than I should.
6:32
I was falling asleep a lot in class and all that, right? And I couldn't really understand why.
6:36
But I was still able to become a, a, an athlete in high school.
6:39
Uh, but my health really collapsed when I hit around age 17, 18, uh, where a big emotional stressor essentially was the straw that broke the camel's back, and all of a sudden I had, you know, over, you know, two or three dozen different symptoms, but the worst of them being, uh, I was having severe crippling anxiety, the, the kind of anxiety that feels like constant impending doom, like you're gonna die all the time, and I went to the hospital several times over that.
7:03
Um, I had such severe brain fog that I couldn't even have a conversation.

22 MINS LATER

29:33
Yes, yes.
9:29
Mm
9:30
... uh, at home, which was, uh, very terrifying.
9:33
Um, extreme exhaustion as well.
9:35
You know, I really would spend most of my day in bed.
9:38
I had little to no energy to do anything at all.
9:41
It was extremely difficult 'cause I was at, in college at the time.
9:44
It was like so hard to keep up with everything.

24 MINS LATER

33:56
Mm.
