Kyle Newman

They don't exactly call it Volume 2, but it's kind of what that is.

The authors, Kyle Newman, Jim Peterson, excuse me, John Peterson, and Michael Witwer produced their first cookbook a couple years ago.

And that seemed to obviously went well enough that they put a sequel out, which I think is pretty cool.

So I actually have a special guest cooking expert to help me review it today.

And rather than just saying, yeah, they give you some potatoes and bread, you know, at the tavern, you know, give, give, you know, get this book, pick out a couple recipes and play it up with the, with the, the, the tavern keep that comes over and is very proud of what he's cooking and, and tell all the ingredients to your players and let them choose which one their characters would try.

And I think that could add a lot, a lot to the game.

So this it's called Heroes Feast Legends of the Table is by Kyle Newman, John Peterson, Michael Witwer.

It was me, Anne, and a couple of our friends went to a Toys R Us to get in line at midnight to get some of those Star Wars exclusive toys, right? A bunch of us were there.

And I happened to run into our mutual friend, Kyle Newman, of course, who we've had on the show a couple of times.

Kyle's, of course, famously directed Fanboys, kind of like the de facto movie of Star Wars fan culture.

Yeah.

You got, uh, Harrison Ford there, and Spielberg is there, and Mace Windu and, and Mark Hamill are standing next to their wax figures or whatever the hell they're made out of there at the, uh, at the museum.

And, um, Kyle Newman was there.

What? [laughs] How did that happen? Uh, now I don't mean to say, oh, anybody was there in the same breath as saying Kyle was there, but anybody was there and Kyle Newman.

No, I'm kidding.

And recently, it was just announced that there's a new book coming out called The Star Trek Original Voyages of Visual History for the 60th.

Written by Kyle Newman.

And we're like, so

Mr. Kirk-loving Spock-sucker

And so that was more of an Ernie Klein and Adam Goldberg type thing.

he was just happened to be the guy that they got to direct it.

And then from there, he just became more, I think he's Kyle Newman is way more known in the RFR community, probably in any other community that's out there because of how much he is part of like the, the Jedi council type thing.

And he just has brought up a lot.

Yep.

And also the fact that the only thing that gets me about AEW when it comes to all this is Kyle Newman and Ospreay have a rivalry in Japan that needs to be recognized at some point legit with Newman and the United Empire being the heels that they are in New Japan.

You know, it's something that I don't like about crossing over with promotions is sometimes your storyline and your main promotion gets tossed aside for what the other booker wants to do when continuity means a lot.

So it was a big car crash match, which ended with United Empire, you know, Osprey, Andrade, Kyle Newman, Hanari, and Akira all defeating the heels.

But then something else happened.
