Kyle Franz

You know.

Um, a- and I think you know the, the story of The Roost, our, our second course in, um, in Citrus, and you had, you know, Kyle Franz and Mike Nuzzo and Ran Morasat.

And I remember asking Doak what did he think of it, and he said, "It's either a really good idea or a really terrible idea."

Yeah.

I, I think, uh, you know, uh, there aren't many people I'd leave unsupervised to build greens and not really wanna see what they were doing along the way.

But yeah, Rod, I don't, uh, I don't think too much about that.

I don't know w- the w- I guess I should say the Old World Woods, when you were in the process of acquiring that or you, you had that idea and you're walking Pine Barrens, did you have that sort of architect epiphany that I want Kyle Franz to do this course, or was th- th- that process selecting him different than the other places you mentioned?

It was a little bit different.

Played, you know, a lot of the top hundreds around the world, read all the books.

So I wondered, "Hey, who knows," right? So I emailed, um, Kyle, Kyle Franz.

Stone cold email.

Did- didn't know who he was.

I have not done Southern pines yet.

Um, But Kelly Miller and the group he's a part of, they have now acquired and have redone with the help of Kyle Franz, who we had on as well, Whispering Pines.

And that's kind of the next big thing.

But it's, you know, interesting when you look at it, I guess it's not part of that cluster, those three.

So many thanks to those guys for continuing to partner with us and allow us to be ambassadors with them.

It's a joy.

So without any further ado, let's get to our episode now with Kelly Miller and Kyle Franz.

Y'all enjoy.
