KXEL

And that's a wrap.

And a reminder, we're back on the air this Sunday, noon central, and only on News Talk 1540 KXEL.

And yes, we do stream.

For all of us that put this together each and every day, Chap Ramsey is our production coordinator, sales and marketing.

And, you know, we, we just work it and keep working it.

I know that Perry wanted a station in Iowa, KXEL, and he couldn't find it, and went to TuneIn.

It was in seven different spots, but none of it worked.

So I said, "Let's do the basic." I went to the website, you know, and found the link on the website, and then took that link, copied it, took it back over into Quill, and put that link in, and then ran the test, and it worked.

So when I knew I had the test working, I knew it was going to work, and I was able to then fix his KXEL.

So that's because we've done this before.

You know, we know what to, kinda know what to do.

Now let's pause briefly for station identification.

KXEL 1540 Waterloo, Iowa.

Notre Dame football, first and 10 from the Oklahoma 40.

Hanratty gets the football, hands it to Nick Eddy over left tackle.

think about all the ones, Bill, that I've added.

The one that I have not gotten to work, and you and I have talked about it, is KXEL.

KXEL is the only one I haven't gotten to work.

But like I said, I'm going to have to create at least one more folder because my folder is an absolute mess.

The one where it says favorites, my folder is an absolute mess, though.

You can find his, uh, books over at your favorite book retailer.

The Iowa Business Report, the Iowa Politics Report, come to us via his mothership there, KXEL in Cedar Falls, Waterloo.

And hello, Jeff, how are we today?

Well, I can only speak for myself, and I'm, I'm about half.

And we'll be right back here where he belongs tomorrow.

My privilege, however, to once again speak with you in Starnes Nation from the Liberty University studio and my home base at News Talk 1540 KXEL in the heartland, right in the middle of the state of Iowa.

And we are so glad that you're along on this Monday edition of the program.

Lots of great guests.

Oh, yeah.

Hello, fellow patriots.

Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today from the Liberty University studio and my home base at News Talk 1540 KXEL in the heartland in Waterloo, Iowa.

Good of you to be along as always.

So, you know, I've got a few of those.

Well, you had a few of those, and I had one that Perry wanted, KXEL from Waterloo, Iowa.

Well, you know, I don't know, and who knows the secret? When you go to Radio Locator...

You got these fields and they're not labeled.

I nearly forgot about this.

I received a text message from our good buddy Jeff Stein over at radio station KXEL, the blowtorch in corn country.

And Jeff was at a big event yesterday.

He phoned.

As a matter of fact, he was going into the event when we had him call into the show to talk about Iowa politics.

And I'm glad we called him before the big event.

But Jeff Stein, ladies and gentlemen, from radio station KXEL, our affiliate in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the 2026 winner of the Celebrity Cow Milking Championship.

So, Noah, it's a beautiful, like, two-tier or three-tier trophy that has a gold cow on the very top.
