KwaDabeka

In the meantime, the reduced flow is expected to affect areas supplied by the Northern Aqueduct and the Mount Maria Reservoir.

That includes parts of Pinetown, New Germany, Clermont, KwaDabeka and surrounding areas, as well as large parts of Phoenix, Newlands, KwaMashu, Ntuzuma, uMhlanga and Durban North.

The municipality says the priority is to prevent reservoirs from being depleted while the reduced bulk supply continues.

The city says it is monitoring the situation and that further updates will be issued as it receives information on the repairs.
