I know there were a bunch of mix-ups in 2014 also, but when Keselowski was just like a wild buck, And it was the same stuff he had said.

You know what? That same stuff, that outside the box, bringing Penske a championship when Penske was now running up front a lot, when Kurt Busch was running for him and Jeremy Mayfield, Rusty Wallace, Ryan Newman, they were hot and cold.

And Kozlowski won him a championship over Jimmy Johnson.

And it was the exact same thing.

Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney, when they won a championship in 2024 and 2023, were seeded sixth.

And when Kurt Busch won the championship in 2004, he was seeded seventh.

But now there's a couple of things there.

Tony Stewart and Lugano and Blaney, those were all in elimination eras.

In other words, even Tony Stewart back in 2011, it was a chase, but you were knocking the bottom guys off as you went.

So when Kurt Busch won it, that was not an elimination year.

That's the lowest in a non-elimination year ever.

Kyle had complications from pneumonia that led suddenly to sepsis.

So I just always love going back to Darlington.
