Kumasi

So I've been around for a while.

I was born in Kumasi, Ashtown.

Grew up mainly in Kumasi.

attending St. Anne's International, Cambridge International, Pemper College, KNUST.

Then I left, went abroad, studied for a long period of time and over time became a professor at a very prestigious Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto, Canada.

Well, a lot of things happened growing up.

As I indicated, I grew up in Ashton.

Those of you who know Kumasi would associate certain specific attributes with Ashton.

It is green.

The humidity sits on your skin like a second shirt.

Vendors are setting up their stalls.

The smell of roasting corn mixes with diesel fumes.

It is the scent of Kumasi.

It is unmistakable.

I am not going to Kumasi because I should not concentrate on the

match in Kumasi.
