Them being that far up on the top of the bill was kind of cool, too.

Then we saw Kublai Khan.

They're from Texas.

I don't remember if it was wind or whatever, but they, they canceled the whole show that day.

And so, uh, Kublai Khan was playing at one of the venues, so a bunch of us went over there, and we were trying to get Slayer to come and fucking play a show at one of the small venues.

So, you know, and this podcast is a vulgar display of podcast.

So Pantera, you know, they had the swagger, right? And even bands like, well, Kublai Khan, you know, absolutely killing it out there.

And they got that swagger upon a burning body.

You know, some of those older, you know, not older, but, you know, some of those Texas bands that I love and even like something like Frozen Soul out of Dallas, I think, death metal band.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

The band will be rotating openers including Marilyn Manson, Hatebreed, Bring Me the Horizon, Acid Bath, Lorna Shore, Kublai Khan, Ven Dead, Lamb of God, Loathe, Motionless in White, and more.

It includes one stop in New England at Fenway Park in Boston July 31st featuring Bring Me the Horizon and Lorna Shore.

Speaking of Slipknot, guitarist Jim Root has once again shed light on what Slipknot have in store for their next album as he comments with fans on social media.

They're like this hardcore band from Texas.

So it's been kind of a quiet week.

Finished up the Kublai Khan group that was having a retreat at the house.

It was really nice.

Aldo Ghiazzi, who's the main owner of Kublai Khan, amazing guy, great guy, really entrenched in the business of board games.

And it was a really nice get-together.

Meanwhile, back in Woodland, I've taken advantage of having an indentured audience, so I'm subjecting the family to all sorts of games that I purchased over at Gen Con.
