Krita

... our screens don't display with hexagons, and so there's not much point in making sprites out of hexagons.

Um, so I had to kind of find a way of doing this myself, and the way I found was using Krita, the image editing software, which doesn't exactly do this, but I managed to find a way of doing it well enough that I could design some images and fiddle with them and get them right so that I could then draw them on the wall knowing that they would look okay and they would fit in the space I've got.

And what I did was I started with a blank image, and then Krita has a feature called Fill Layers where you can fill in a sort of... one of the layers of the image with either a solid color or a pattern.

It has a load of predefined patterns, and one of those predefined patterns happens to be hexagons.

Huh.

I mean, it is a very important open source tool cause there's really not a lot of alternatives to it.

You know, we've got Krita and some other things, but you know, they're all made for something very specific and, and GIMP fills a very awesome role.

So, well, congratulations to them.

We will, uh, do the donations and then we will post screenshots in our patron room.

So why wouldn't you just pick Conte this week? You can move Krita back to his position that he's dominated in his whole career.

even give him a break.

You know, there's a lot of great free tools out there.

I think it was Krita that I was using.

It was like an open source type thing.

You would think if that's the case, Galvin Six, Krita back to Senna's.

But, yeah, like that's because realistically we haven't really brought anyone for next year.
