So what was it like being on the ground there after the disaster? Or can you share any stories, um, of those times?
14:25
Yeah, it's, it's really hard.
14:27
And, and like I said, we have so many different vehicles, so many different ways that we serve.
14:31
Um, sometimes it's, like you said, through, uh, our US disaster relief.
14:36
Uh, we helped with Hurricane Helene.
14:38
We're helping currently in many different parts throughout the country.
14:41
I got to see a community that had been rocked by a tornado.
18:22
So what stood out to you the most about this?
14:17
So what was it like being on the ground there after the disaster? Or can you share any stories, um, of those times?
14:25
Yeah.
14:26
It's, it's really hard.

18:17
Correct.
18:18
Thank you for sharing and for loving her.
18:21
Yeah, I think that's one of the hardest parts, right? And I'll come back to even being in the military.
18:26
I had one of my best friends.
18:28
Her husband was killed.
18:29
He did the same job as my husband.
18:31
They were in different battalions, but same exact job, company commanders.

7 MINS LATER

25:59
Mm-hmm.
25:54
And Christy, what sort of efforts do you see to convert these type of risks into, to action?
25:59
Yeah.
26:00
I think this, this point that you were making, Martina, about essentially the capability that is needed and that being probably developed in other disciplines is something that, uh, we work with across the finance sector quite a lot.
26:12
There's, um, this multidisciplinary approach that is needed for financial institutions to understand these risks, to make sense of them, and to apply them in a business context as well.
26:23
Um, so we, we see that being sort of a huge unlocker of, of not just better mitigating risk, but also in capitalizing on those opportunities and, and being able to sort of forecast, not predict, but to, to look at the range of potential future scenarios and what that would mean for business models and, and strategy and things at that point.
26:42
What we do see, and, and this is sort of across business and finance, is people, um, because they don't necessarily have the technical capability, find tools and frameworks that, um, make it very clear what and how you need to do, um, as a base level, really important and a, and a really critical way to get started in better understanding these risks.
27:02
Um, and as I said, the tools and frameworks are growing both in sort of sophistication, but also importantly moving just from a risk to an opportunity lens.

9 MINS LATER

36:40
Um, how do you look at sort of models that c- firms come up with that, that try to anticipate, uh, these things from happening and potentially direct capital towards mitigating these risks?
