Did you ever have any difficult conversations with parents who weren't as excited about you playing the role as an organization in their life that you were playing?

I mean, sometimes difficult conversations or with parents or with gang members that aren't super excited that we're working with young people to help change their trajectory.

I, I remember probably, you know, just it was a horrible experience when I was taking a young person home from a three-day retreat, and his mother, who was, you know, just, she was a hardcore drug addict that didn't get the support that she wanted, and she just, she didn't want me to bring him home.

She wanted him to go somewhere else.

And that was, that was really, that was really hard, and that was the reality that he was living in.
