Kris Jenkins

Everyone had an impact at some point.

From guy number one, Dexter Lawrence, to guy number nine, and Chris Jenkins, he had a sack as well, right? I think it should have been a half a sack.

Can we petition and get Cassius Hollow a half a sack on that one? I don't know what you guys feel about that.

And that's no discredit to Chris Jenkins.

He cleaned up the chaos.

We need these guys to be able to do that.

And you never like to see midweek injuries pop up in that way and something new that BJ is possibly dealing with.

But this is why having depth is so important and so critical, especially in the trenches on that defensive line.

And then obviously last year didn't go the way anyone wanted it to on defense, partially because of the personnel that was out there.

I think as great as the new additions looked on Sunday, the thing that has me most encouraged about this Bengals defense is a Miles Murphy sack and a Chris Jenkins sack.

And the step from Barrett Carter, the guys that were here last year already look so much better.

And it's because of the pieces that were added to the interior defensive line in front of them, being able to take on multiple blockers, cause havoc on their own.

So, yeah, it's a good day to be a Bengals fan today.

Yeah, I would have had my Chris Jenkins orange jersey on if I would not have been traveling back from Michigan.

I got to see a good game there Saturday.

It's impressive that I was thinking we were going to do three different people.

because it was so easy to give a game ball to the boy in my face, the Cassius Howes.

you're landon robinson you absolutely should be thinking oh i can be grady jared and that's not a knock on grady jared i just think that's the blueprint here for landon robinson is being a real pain a real problem for opponents and uh i'm really excited about this defensive front i know joe burrow is i i you know from cassius howe to obviously dexter to even a guy like landon and you know who else i'm excited about i think it goes overlooked and i want to show my guys some love Chris Jenkins has answered the bell.

He could have saw, he could have whined.

And the trench element of this.

I think is where we can start because the Bengals, well, they kept Chris Jenkins, which I wondered going into camp if he was going to be on the bubble, played his way off the bubble, wasn't really a topic going into yesterday's final cuts.

Landon Robinson, I think, played his way off of the bubble as well.

And you look at that defensive line room and the six defensive tackles and just all of the pieces there, and that includes Shamar Stewart, who I do think the Bengals are tentatively optimistic that he could be back Week one, hopefully, but certainly early in the season.

So whoever the fourth guy is there, then roll the dice with the other ones, see if they make it to the practice squad.

I certainly think they could, but not going with five linebackers, it allowed them to keep Landon Robinson.

It allowed them to not think twice about keeping Chris Jenkins.

Cedric Johnson, another one that they were able to keep.

both of our third round picks no longer on the team.

Chris Jenkins still on the team.

So they have a little bit more time with them.

But that's a deep room.

That is a deep room for Chris Jenkins to try to get some playing time and be an impact.

And now with a guy like Landon Robinson in there who puts the chip on his shoulder, the Admiral is certainly going to try to cause some havoc when he gets a chance offensively.

Yeah, listen, Landon Robinson, you said he didn't play as well against the Eagles that he had the first two weeks.

He was in the doghouse.

Cool there.

Chris Jenkins is the one for the Bengals.
