Kostas Papanikolaou

So you

started off mentioning guys like Vazenkov, Papanikolaou, which is basically the continuity, the identity and the leadership of that team.

What did you learn about kind of leadership and the culture while playing with these guys, with these veterans?

I mean, you could just see it in how they play.

Who else did you say?

Papanikolaou and Juricic.

Oh, Juricic, absolutely.

Absolutely.

And in a lot of cases that was Milutinov, you know, making that, uh, pressure.

Or sometimes Papanikolaou just misses his own, uh, layup from the point blank range and then gets the rebound and then makes it.

But anyways, but yeah, uh, him, uh, also N'Diaye I thought.

He is just, like, the best, uh, utility type of a player that you could have for a team.

Uh, but the, the, the assistant coach really stuck with the same guys.

Like, he made maybe two substitutions at most.

I remember one of them being, uh, Tyson Ward getting, uh, subbed in in the overtime, uh, instead of Papanikolaou.

But once he found that or once he saw that that, uh, five of, uh, Vezenkov, uh, Montero, N'Diaye, Papanikolaou and Forney, they were the ones who made the comeback possible, especially with the six minutes left.
