Korriban

those

were the good days when you could go back with your level 60 character to Korriban and kill everything with one hit of that just basic lightning because you're the Sith Master on the Apprentice planet.

I miss that stuff.

But the goal at that era of the game was how do we make... all the heroics and all the dailies replayable for people at end games so that there's the feeling of more content and more things to grind.

Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh.

The last place you can go to is Korriban, which is where the Sith Academy was in KOTOR 1.

Um, it's, uh, it's gone now.

You can go.

She's so good.

And I love that you love her.

Anyway, you go to Korriban and you find the funniest shit ever, which is you find the body of the, of one of the Jedi Masters in a cage.

[laughs] And next to it you find a little holodeck that's like They captured me, but I'm about to escape.

So far with the first three episodes, we've done all of that and gotten to the point where the cantina bartender guy helps Dessel to escape and make it to the Brotherhood of Darkness.

Granted, I don't remember if he goes straight to Korriban or where he ends up.

The overall story from my memory is that Dessel ultimately makes it to Korriban.

They realize his Force sensitivity.

And ultimately joins the Brotherhood of Darkness.

Come on.

Take me to Korriban.

Like...

I would...

And as we even saw in the previous chapters, the Rancor was... very almost whining when it was being you know forced to think about where that temple was and bane was seeing it in its in its vision or in its memories so bane approaches carefully and he is really noting the intense dark side presence that he's feeling and he knows that this whole temple was once protected by the energy of the star forge so again star forge appearance But the temple shields are now gone.

So this time, instead of the way that he entered the artifacts or the areas on Korriban, he is entering this with a very high sense of reverence and almost trepidation in some ways.

But then he's very soon disappointed.

So he finds that the temple had been stripped much like those on Korriban.

But yet he did still feel that there was something of power here.

So finally, in the basement, he finds a sort of ancient computer with one really faint, violent, glowing symbol.

And as a result of that, Bane is able to access a cubbyhole after a chunk of stone falls free, and he shoves his arm inside to retrieve a tiny replica of the temple.

a sith holocron so here we go and so holocron technology is briefly explained and bane realizes this one is different from any that he has previously encountered and as it turns out this is darth revan's holocron and bane is elated and i love especially in the audiobook where he just he throws back his head and he's just oh He's just loving this, you know, he's just so excited.

So, for example, I think I went straight from Telos to Dantooine in my first playthrough of KOTOR 2.

Whereas here you go to Korriban first and you'll tell us all about that in the summary.

But yeah, there's a lot to talk about.

We're covering, obviously, this is our fourth episode into our watch through of Knights of the Old Republic 2, colon, the Sith Lords.

Brianna okay awesome so aboard the ebonhawk we find out that T3 it was able to download a hollow recording of mitra's trial from the archives in the base, and we find out that mitra was put on trial by the Jedi Council for following raven's call to war and for Malachor five and ultimately exiled from the Jedi order.

With T3 having obtained a record as well of the locations of the surviving Jedi Council members, Mitra and company set off to assemble them to try and fight the Sith, despite Kreia's objections.

They fly the Ebon Hawk to Korriban, where they enter a dark side cave, within which they find the body of Jedi Master Vashj.

Mitra comes face to face with Darth Sion, who nearly defeats Mitra, but she is able to escape and Sion vows to find and kill her for revenge against his old master, Kreia.

You definitely wanna keep your gear up, raise the influence on your companions, have a steady supply of med packs, and know what all your defensive abilities are and be prepared to use them.

I spent some time on Korriban in Veteran mode.

For the most part, it was fine.

I got the sense that I could navigate through the combat just fine.
