I mean, Peter Mandelson is it just has a howling void where his conscience should be and a good memory for Compromat.

Yeah.

And so, you know, you put those two things together and you've got a very effective political operator

This is like HD caught you in 4K on a phone.

I'm like, that's not as good.

Right.

Kompromat relies on the idea that everyone has something to hide, and whoever controls that information controls the individual.

It is a sobering legacy.

In our modern era, where our lives, our movements, and our data are endlessly cataloged by invisible algorithmic systems, we are left with a vital question all over.

because of the attack on Ukraine, the declaration by Mr. Putin that this is a war with NATO, and the constant and repeated... provocation of talking about nuclear weapons and tactical nuclear weapons and strategic nuclear weapons, in addition to the romancing of Pyongyang in order to acquire arsenals of short-range ballistic missiles, artillery shells, and now combat troops again.

I mean, effectively, we had freedom of the seas.

Now Iran has taken over the Strait of Hormuz as a toll booth that will earn billions and billions of dollars a year as Americans pay through the nose for oil and gas.
