Kofi Stone

Uh.

Sounds of Ruby and Kofi Stone.

Chameleon.

Sweat bootleg, man.

On the way, I'm gonna be revealing the lineup from my specially curated bill at Soun Festival in Cardiff, which is happening very, very soon.

But first, I've got some new music to play for you from Kofi Stone.

This is the title track of his album that features some absolutely mad guest appearances, including Mahalia and Maverick Sabre.

Definitely worth a listen.

This is Kofi Stone on 6 Music with The Last Flower to Bloom.

I feel like the last flower to bloom.

I feel like the last flower to bloom.

I feel like the last flower to bloom.

Starting off with a bit of hip hop.

Um, there's a fella I've played on here a good few times now, Kofi Stone.

Yeah.

And I love this one 'cause, uh, I think it's like the, the chorus bit or the soft bit sounds like, uh, Wyclef Jean, which is a big tick for me.

Yeah, yeah [upbeat music]

What was that one, you play?

That was Kofi Stone there with, uh, No Way.

Exclamation mark.

That was just the song.

He also gave me Busker Flow by Kofi Stone.

Now, this I liked.

It's got an older feeling to it.

The beat is simple enough.

It's a winner for me.

I would listen again to Busker Flow by Kofi Stone.

Good lad.

We are giving away a single pass to see Kofi Stone live at the Tuning Fork on Saturday, the 14th of November, presented by 95BFM.

The critically acclaimed UK rapper is playing his debut show in Aotearoa in celebration of his most recent album, All The Flowers Have Bloomed.

So to enter, it's the same old story.

Then we had NZ movies as well.

And I was thinking the prompt for this one could be the childhood movie that you watched on repeat.

I'm talking about the movies... that you put in the vhs player on tape that you just absolutely thrashed and rewinded and just watched over and over and over and over again so text in 5395 with that if you want or not i don't really mind but your name and your b card number and you'll be in to win a single pass to see Kofi Stone at the Tuning Fork on the 14th of November.

I would say that my movie, my go-to movie at the time, when I was a little boy and just thrashed in the VHS player, in the VCR player, I don't know what it's called.
