We talked about this.

Kody and Robyn were not on it.

This episode basically was Janelle wanted to meet with Mary and tell her that Kody was against her, that threw her under the bus because c- at the end of, at like the tell-all of last season, Kody threw Janelle under the bus and said it was Janelle's idea of, well, we could just cut them out and they would never know.

So Janelle is confronting Mary and being like, "I never said that.

That was Kody.

He made that up." To me, it kinda gave off I'm trying to do damage control.

Mm-hmm.

I kinda wonder if she said it now.

We lost Kody Brown on Sister Wives.

We need a new one.

Nick Cannon, come on down.

And so they were getting rentals because they were like, "Okay, we're gonna get rentals, and then we're gonna start building on the property so then we don't have to, like, buy houses here," blah, blah, blah.

But they were all very far apart from each other, and that even cemented even more the divide and the, the inequity, I would say, in quality time with Kody and his children.

Like, he would basically just stay at Robyn's.

And then COVID happened, and that man loved COVID more than anybody, 'cause it was the perfect excuse to not see his other wives and his other family.

And so they paid off the property, and then finally they got an offer of someone to buy it.

And the, basically the drama was who gets what.

What portion does each person get? And the thing that is unfair is Kody's name was on every piece of property, and that isn't technically fair because if Janelle and Mary are no longer a part of that family, they would get even less money, but then him and Robyn are a unit, so they get like triple.

And Christine already waived her basically rights to this property.

And it shows off her curves and her weight loss, and everyone's complimenting her.

And what does Kody have to say? "I'm actually really impressed."

Oh, he's so gross.

Actually really impressed.

And even though she was, like, morning, no makeup, putting on a T-shirt, she looked really good.

Yeah.

Leave it to Kody to make a comment about how he didn't think it was gonna fit, but he's actually really impressed.

Just the word "actually," it's a tactic to put somebody down.

[bright music]

There was this whole conversation that came up about a backdoor deal, and this basically was Janelle and Kody possibly.

I don't know.

I don't know all the details, but evidently it was basically Janelle and Kody, um, talking about wanting to sell the property out from under me and giving me the money however much they felt like I was owed.

But it's still a little bit confusing [laughs] you know? Or no, it's still a lot.

[upbeat music]

I don't really know how to process it, to be honest." And then a prod- director says to Janelle, "A lot's been happening," and she's like, "Mm-hmm, there has been a lot that has happened." Then we cut to Mary.

"There have been a few changes recently, kind of some big ones." Black screen, white font.

Let's just do a quick little episode here for the first episode of Sister Wives.

First of all, can we start with the fact that Kody and Robyn are outsy? They don't wanna be a part of this anymore.

I actually find it really fascinating that these two narcissistic individuals d- are not going to be out there in the limelight.

Don't wanna get their shit across.

I really do.

But, um, yeah, that's where we're at.

We're-- I think this is something that I think the, the fan of, the fans of the show actually wanted to see is forget Kody and Robyn.

We're done with them.
