Knowledge economy

Once you've got the person in the organization, then you try and provide them with the enabling environment, the appropriate environment to contribute.

And why do we say this? In today's world, and actually for the last couple of decades, we've been working in what we have termed as the knowledge economy.

Now, what is knowledge economy from an employer's perspective or from the economy perspective? Knowledge economy means that we are working by way of knowledge, which means by way of the brain power of resources.

We are not working by the muscle power of the resource.

Yes, scientifically speaking, biologically speaking, you know, you may title brain as a muscle also.

But over here, we are talking about physical muscles.

We are not talking about brain or intellectual muscles.

So knowledge is working on intellectual which is brain muscle whereas before that the economies that we worked on did not work so much on knowledge economy even though in history we do see examples where we have got people who've been contributing and who've been successful leaders because they had the right talent at the right place.
