Like, that was before any, like, Food or, or Madvillainy or any of that, you know? And I, it was weird for me.

I mean, looking back, it's weird to think that Madvillain is, um, much more known than KMD or, or Doomsday at this point.

Like, I was just reading a, a Pitchfork readers poll of the top 10, uh, rap albums of all time, and, uh, they put Madvillainy, like, I think at number four or five, but you know, none of the other Doom stuff really.

I remember the first time I actually heard the whole entire story of that was a shout out to MC Search when he was on 1F.

And they had asked him about Doom because, you know, Dante Ross signed KMD.

And the first time you ever heard any of them, though, was on third base on the gas face.

That was MF Doom on there.

Blessed to be able to do that with Madlib and Doom.

Just seeing them work together, because obviously we grew up dancing and rocking with KMD.

But it was a crazy moment when that happened, because this is when my son, who's an actor, was trying to do his thing in entertainment.

I was trying to help him out, driving him around and doing all these things.

Yeah.

And we had already kind of idolized him from his days with KMD and Zev Love X, and then he grew into MF DOOM, and we found ourselves in the same spots as him.

And I'm like, "Is that really Zev Love X? Is he really coming out as MF, and it's really him?" And, like, we talked to somebody, be like Ill Bill or somebody's like-
