Pathways are there, but I think it's not very obvious.

If you're not in and around politics in a very direct way, especially if you're not in the Klang Valley.

For me personally, I grew up in Johor Bahru, politics felt very distant.

It felt that all the action happened in the Klang Valley, whether it's protests, whether it's NGOs, whether it's movement building.

To even think about how do I join this thing called politics is so distant.

It's so difficult to discern.

Until I came to the Klang Valley, and not just coming into the Klang Valley, because, okay, that one big thing was there was massive birthday protests happening during my college days.

So that was one eye-opening thing.

And over the past 12 months, they've gone from six outlets to 11, opening in Puchong, Damansara Uptown and Banda Baru Bangi.

A brand that took 11 years to build in Sabah is now starting from scratch right here in the Klang Valley.

So for our Malaysia Day special, I want to talk about what it actually takes for an East Malaysian business to become a Malaysian one.

Now, Janice, you spent your first decade almost entirely in Sabah.

It's only now that in the 11th year, you're moving towards the Klang Valley.

What does Borenos as a brand actually mean to Sabahans?

So we leave it to the local experts that has the kind of, uh, understanding and, uh, ability to reach out to them in a more efficient way.

So versus us who is actually based in the Klang Valley, right? So that's something that we see as a value on why we work with the dealers.

So there's a bit of a balance there, and you don't cannibalize them.

Um, now you're competing with established brands, and then of course, you've got the lower cost regional and Chinese manufacturers that have come into play and new online first players, right? I mean, if I open my Instagram right now, there are gonna be a few brands that are already trying to target me.

Therefore, it will be interesting to hear how fighters train as well as prepare for fights.

This week's episode will focus on Muay Thai and we're going to hear again from Reza Afiq, the founder of Pet Muay Thai, a Muay Thai gym in the Klang Valley.

He's also a coach and a fighter.

Personally, I believe that the delivery riders could use a pay raise because if you see in comparison to normal e-hailing drivers, the delivery riders itself has more risk as they are usually on motorbikes and with that it comes for another layer of risk so you always see like maybe like a normal e-hailing driver will be protected in their car from like the weather disruptions but you see during like the unpredictable weather or like thunderstorms the delivery riders are still ongoing although there's like a slight bump in the prices but they are still taking the jobs at that time and there is no actually extra layer of protection other than just that small incentive that during raining times the prices are a bit higher for them but the risk is still there so I think the pay that they get is not same with the level of work that they put in especially during the times where unpredictable weather and then like also from outside sources like the amount of like traffic and the accidents happening especially in Klang Valley I

In Malaysia, a second pilot has been arrested in connection with a drug trafficking case involving a Malaysia Airlines pilot detained in Indonesia with drugs worth 45 million ringgit.

Police say the man in his 30s was arrested in Klang Valley two days ago and is believed to have helped transfer proceeds from drug sales.

The latest suspect, who is believed to work for a different airline, tested negative for drugs.

His arrest brings the total number of people detained in the case to seven.
