Let's move to San Antonio, Texas, where the number one radio station is KTKX-FM with a classic rock format.

Followed by KONO-FM with a classic hits format.

Everything has changed, obviously, in 25 years.

Uh, but that was a, a little less than 15 minutes before I did a live news update at 8:00 on our sister station, K103.

Do news in the morning at the top of the hour on that station.

Well, by the time I went in there for the 8:00 news, uh, 8:03 was when the second plane hit the second tower.

And this is a matter of from 7:46 Central Time until a couple of minutes after 8:00, uh, the Associated Press was able to get that story out.

So somebody was pounding out a story and sent out the alert, and that was, uh, the story that I read.

And so then we were, Kent Crider was on K103 in the morning at that time, and so we talked about it, and we've got televisions, uh, still got one in, in K103.

And then obviously our newsroom is right here next to our studio, television in there, and the TV, you know, I don't remember what news channel we had it on, maybe CNN, probably CNN.
