It's very hard to find an actor to be dad without doing a Jimmy Stewart impersonation.

Then he lost about 30 pounds to trim up, to just carve out those cheekbones and just be that.

Jimmy was first rejected from military service because he was too skinny.

And so K.J. put in the physical work to do that and then studied his mannerisms, the way he holds his hands, the way he carries his shoulders, the way he walks and moves, the speech pattern and cadence and the regionalisms of Indiana, Pennsylvania, where Jimmy grew up, all of those elements that combined with the script that we have.

And it was just a joy to watch him bring that character to life.

uh it's going to be a a game changer for him.

I think he stepped into this role and like the champ that he is, he embodied Jimmy Stewart to the nth degree.

And when he returned, he gave the world George Bailey back.

in Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life, a performance that continues to remind us that the greatest measure of a life is not fame or fortune, but the difference we make in the lives of others.

And KJ Apa, well, brings remarkable heart to Stewart, while Christopher McDonald delivers a wonderfully engaging portrayal of Lionel Barrymore, the legendary actor who, Well, Mr. Potter remains one of cinema's most unforgettable characters.

And Jimmy reminds us that behind every great performance is a human story.
