Kix Brooks

And that's the Holy Grail, right? He said, I want all my songs on there.

Kix Brooks wants all of his songs on there.

So we have to work that stuff out.

And you sweat and bleed every word.

So, you know, we have a group text with Dr. Crane for the show.

We have a group text with our buddy Ricky.

And, you know, usually it doesn't matter what any of us have going on.

That thing's usually popping and we're talking.

Lost and Found's another good.

I love that one, too.

Our buddy Kix Brooks plays it, sings it.

It's a good song, man.

This is Brooks and Dunn.

David, how you doing? Pleasure, Kix Brooks.

Nice to meet you.

Welcome back to Acadiana.

So good to be back.

Thanks.

Acadiana is my home, the heart of Cajun country and the Cajun Dome, where Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn returned to Lafayette, Louisiana, for a seventh time in their 35-year career.

Oh,

I mean, he's a man.

We've had Kix Brooks in.

We've had Jelly Roll.

Now, if '90s country had a neon-lit Mount Rushmore, Brooks & Dunn would be staring back in matching cowboy hats.

Kix Brooks, the smooth talker, and Ronnie Dunn, the Texas tone powerhouse, were paired up in 1990 by a Nashville publisher who said, "Trust me, best blind date in country history." They became the best-selling duo in country music, piling up 20-plus number one hits, stacks of CMA and ACM awards, and turning honky-tonk heartache into arena sing-alongs.

They once said they just wanted music that felt real enough to sweat in, and judging by the two-step footprints they left, mission accomplished.

Here is Brooks & Dunn.

And his voice-

Sounds like Kix Brooks a little-

Oh, sure

... a little bit.

Hey, y'all.

I'm Kix Brooks.

I'm Ronnie Dunn.

And we're Brooks-
