Kiwiana

How nostalgic.

Oh, my God, how Kiwiana.

I know.

So lovely.

That is very disappointing, the humble toffee pop.

And that's a bit of an icon when it comes to Kiwiana.

Well, they were.

They were.

We played tag on motorbikes and we jumped on bladders of waterbeds and slipped around in horse manure.

Like it was quite sound of music-esque in a very Kiwiana way.

Yeah.

You did the walking over the hill.

But I was inspired by a number of things, one of which was the Power Shell house down in Bluff.

Fred and Myrtle Flutie, their house, a collection of shells, So I guess I wanted to do something a bit Kiwiana, and so it was a sort of serious museum of natural and social history, but also it was sort of like an unpretentious thing as well.

So, yeah, that was one of my inspirations.

Another one was the Victor Wynne Gallery in London.

And if you want to come outside those times, just contact us through the website.

But I would say, yeah, probably Friday to Saturday.

to Sunday in summer, you know, maybe 100 people, something like that.

And maybe in the middle of winter, you know, it might go down to like 30 people or something like

They were literally in normal shoes, jeans, and like maybe a skivvy and a flannel.

Hey, true Kiwiana legs.

I literally was like, bro, you're built different.

But because of everyone else's attire, they definitely stood out because there's the option to like ski and snowboard, obviously.
