Raven, was there anything else, you know, that you've learned so far or people that you've spoken with that have really struck you that maybe we haven't talked about yet in this episode?

Um, yeah, I mean, like just yesterday, I had an interview with an executive director of the Wanakee Treatment Center out here in Kitigan Zibi on my own reserve.

And her name is Angela Miljor.

And it was hearing about how they run their treatment center in an Indigenous holistic way, how ceremony is incorporated into it, rather than just looking at it as abstain from all drugs.

They're really trying to keep hydro, another huge hydro project off the, off, off their river.

Um, and there are projects where I live, the Gatineau River, the Friends of Gatineau River are working with the local Kitigan Zibi, um, uh, First Nation to, to have the Gatineau River declared, uh, uh, uh, to have rights.

And just last week, a committee, uh, to the environment committee, or a report to the environment, federal environment committee, recommended having the, giving the St. Lawrence River legal personhood.

Now whether that'll happen or not, it, but it's an absolutely huge breakthrough for us that this would have been recognized by, by a committee.
