Was there a moment that you realised that what was completely normal for you having venison for dinner every, you know, regularly, wasn't that normal for everybody else?
4:11
Yes.
4:12
Grew up around it.
4:13
My mother cooked it every night, whether it was venison or any other types of game.
4:20
But when I left to go to university, that was...
4:23
I mean, when you're a student, you don't have much of an idea of how to cook anything anyway.

oh cool though that sounds really great and there was something else as well are you working with schools to try and get venison onto the menu
1:09
Hey, um, well, before we get onto the Kirsty challenge, can you tell us a bit more about your story, Kirsty?
1:16
Yeah.
1:16
Well, I was diagnosed in November 2024.
1:21
Well, I started to lose my eyesight in that September, and then I lo- lost my memory, and I started to fall asleep quite a lot.
1:29
And then we thought something was up, so we went into hospital, and soon a- after that, I was diagnosed with a Grade 1 benign brain tumor.
1:40
Then I had a long operation to remove some of it, and then I had my first chemo, which was about 70 weeks.
1:47
And it wasn't too harsh, but it w- was tough.
