So,

again, this is, you know, very, very, very, very, very heartbreaking to hear someone who um i think wrongly believed donald trump and his regime would go after the criminals so to speak and the terrorists and not american citizens or not um you know law-abiding people and just to break a few things down i feel like this is the reason why we do media like this is the reason why it's important to have a like an honest media that tells Americans what ICE has been doing up until Donald Trump was reelected, that there was divisions of the INS before ICE was even a thing that would go after criminals, that in 2017, ICE asked the head then, Kirstjen Nielsen of DHS, to reform itself because they found themselves going after law abiding immigrants who were at their workplaces and they were they you know they were like we're not doing our job our job is to go after the so-called cartels or whomever right anyone who's doing breaking the law and you're not allowing us to do that because now we're literally just an immigrant catching you know, unit.

And now we're an immigrant catching unit of lawless white nationalist chuds who, you know, have alimony payments to make and student loan debt like that.

So I think this is where it's really important to not mince words.

Miles, you and I got to know each other when, when you were working at DHS and I was covering the family separation crisis.

You were working for Kirstjen Nielsen.

And in my first book about the family separations, I wrote about how there was a memo from, um, folks in the DHS that went to Nielsen about me before I interviewed her.

It talked about why you guys thought I was a good person to interview her, what you thought I might report.
