Kinnot

You don't like that? Say "Kinah leAsaf." Lamentation.

Kinot, like we say kinot on Tisha B'Av.

"Umah omer Mizmor?" Says the Midrash, "Why are you saying Mizmor? Why are you saying a song? Who sings about destruction?" We know everything Hashem does for good.

That's not a question.

Lamentation.

Kinot, like we say kinot.

Anta sha'abihav.

Umahu omer mizmor.

The Kalir is considered by the Rishonim to be, you know, Gedolai HaPaytanim, the greatest of the Paytanim.

And, you know, his, you know, a- as whoever's a, a con- consistent listener knows, you know, the Kinot Rabbeinu Zalzar Kalir are, are just mind-boggling.

Um, they're his most complica- complicated chibur, complicated, you know, piece of work.

Um, now I have, uh, you know, on Rosh Hashanah, um, I try to go over.
