Kingsbarns Golf Links

You've got to hit good shots, and it's windy, and it's right in the water.

So we played St. Andrews, Kingsbarns, Muirfield.

We'll get more into that.

Then we went and played North Berwick, Gullen, and Dunbar.

It's a phenomenal place to play golf.

Don't get me wrong.

But Kingsbarns, Dunbarney, North Dirt, Gollum One, go up to Dawn or go over to Alesa, Troon.

There's so many.

Right.

So we, myself and Scott Ross, we went with David and actually at that time then I got offered to go back to Kingsbarns.

in a full-time position right previous it was just seasonal over that so that was looking after kind of I'll say looking after part of the operations and retail team from there then I was I went to the Fairmont in St Andrews after that nice another two great courses as well

they're awesome

So kind of going back to what I was saying about trying to find out what I wanted to do and what I was passionate about.

And I'd really enjoyed coaching the membership at Aberdour.

Then I'd kind of stopped teaching when I was at Kingsbarns because I wasn't really, you know, you weren't able to do it there.

And then I was teaching quite a bit at the Fairmont.

So it sounds like it's, you know, when it all comes together, it's going to be great.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the actual golf course? I don't know if you can see one of the little bags I have behind me is Kingsbarns.

And I've seen a few things that people say it's Kingsbarns, one of my absolute favorite golf courses ever.

And there's a few people that draw like similarities maybe there between Barnardus and Kingsbarns and a few other golf courses.

Yeah, well, I visited King's Barnes myself a couple of years ago when I was invited to St. Andrews.

And then on the way back, we went to King's Barnes together with Niall Richardson, our superintendent, because he knows a lot of guys in the world.

We have tight lists, driving range balls where you can make use free of charge with nice build-up pyramids.

We have two halfway houses with catering included.

So Pebble, probably the best.

What's your favorite course? Probably Kingsbarns was probably my favorite day.

I played great, which is awesome.

Kingsbarns is in Scotland.

Yeah, Scotland.

They did the Dunhill there, too, as well.
