Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Just kind of filling in.

It justifies Chain of Memories kind of and connects back.

So it's like if you didn't play Chain of Memories, like most people didn't, you have no idea what's happening.

But I'm excited to get into some additional Kingdom Hearts games.

That was technically the first brand new one to me in a while since Chain of Memories.

So, you know, Community did earn me playing that.

And what is it? Birth by Sleep will be the next one that we actually play.

Kingdom Hearts 1.

I've already started the second one, or I've started Chain of Memories.

I will play that in any free time I have outside of, like, I'm going to play this until Ocarina comes out, and then I'm hoping to have Chain of Memories beat.

And then when Ocarina comes out, I'm beating it and coming right back to Kingdom Hearts.

And you've got enough of them, so you need to.

Yeah, that's true.

Because that's basically all that happened to Chain of Memories, but it's a lot more detailed.

So, I have a question for our fans out there.

And just, I mean, this was the Organization XIII theme song playing as he's fading away, but, like, it was giving the same bleak.

Yeah.

only played a bit of birth by sleep and chain of memories and melody of memories are my only samples.

So I've always been like, I would like to kind of see all of it, but the only way I can.

Feel like it could see all of it is by like really, uh, diving in and, and like doing a whole project around it,

I still think Kingdom Hearts 2 is great.

I had a thing a couple years ago where I was like, are these games actually good? Or was I a dumb kid? And I replayed a bunch of them and was like, Kingdom Hearts 2 is actually a great game that I would unequivocally recommend to anybody.

Again, I haven't played it because I feel like I need to play all of Kingdom Hearts 1 and Chain of Memories before I touch it.

But it definitely feels like it stands as the towering achievement of the series.

And since then, I've been playing it religiously ever since.

I remember it was Christmas Eve when I beat Chain of Memories for the first time.

Way back.

And on the Game Boy Advance.

But let's go through and review and pretend we never played them before.

Let's go through and pretend that this is our first time playing these games and all of that.

So we're going to start out with Kingdom Hearts and two weeks from now we'll do Chain of Memories.

So, Kingdom Hearts 1.

Hmm.

yeah just uh these these ports are exactly what you would think they are um one and two and 3d uh one two chain of memories birth by sleep are all like 4k 60 on switch 2 if that matters to you um and uh three is apparently somewhere between 30 and 60. uh so better if you have vrr on but yeah they're they are exactly the same ports you've seen on every other platform but now more comfortably portable

nice can you buy 2.8 and 3 separately Yes, I believe so.

But, like, so, like, Chain of Memories is a good example.

Like, that's the first example, because, like, yes, its events are kind of important, but Sora doesn't know what happened during it in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Which is to say, yeah, pretty clear.

Yeah, I'm about to buy it again for like the time because they're putting, they're finally putting out like the Kingdom Hearts Collection 1 to 3, which contains Kingdom Hearts 1.5 plus 2.5 HD remix, which contains Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final

Mix.

For the record, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, only one that I've played front to back because it was on Game Boy.

Fucking whips.

It contains an HD cutscene compilation of Kingdom Hearts 358 over two days.

Oh, okay.

The last card-based game I played was Chain of Memories.

And I played that for an hour and said, I don't feel like actually learning how to do this.

And I have not been back to a card-based game since then.

Yeah.

I got, like I said, I platinum before I was too focused on trophies.

I got the first Kingdom Hearts platinum little bit and chain of memories and 60% way through number two.

So Kingdom Hearts is on the series.
