But even its greatest admirers would have to admit that it's not what you would call, like, a really thematically coherent piece other than being kind of like a stew of certain kinds of '90s paranoia.

Like, I love the scene in which Danny Glover has a really weird conversation with King Willie, the Rasta voodoo drug kingpin, who says all kinds of cool atmospheric stuff about what's going on, and it has some narrative function.

Like, I guess you could argue that it shows Glover's desperation that he's willing to talk to someone like Willie, someone that he hates and fears.

And it shows that Willie, who is the toughest gang boss around, is no match for the Predator.

But like, it's not much.

It's just cool and fun and, you know, it's atmospheric.

As it pans up the column, you see a bloody Predator handprint on the column, which I think is a nice little touch.

Mike goes and meets King Willie, the leader of the Jamaican gangs.

Yeah.

It's about what you would expect.

Along with,

like, the trophy, like, skull and spinal column sort of thing.

Yeah, which is we see again here because King Willie gets got after Mike leaves.
