King of the Road

like Led Zeppelin, just because the vocalist sounds the same does not mean they play the same music and have the same thought process when creating music.

I mean, a great example, which might be a little niche, Roger McGuinn of The Byrds, And Tom Petty, if you put them two together, there is a song out there called King of the Road, where they kind of split verses.

They sound almost identical, but no one's like, oh my gosh, Tom Petty sounds too much like Roger McGuinn.

Oh my goodness, I hate Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

It, it certainly does not.

It's in, uh, the King of the Road match.

Now, there's, there's a ton of backstory to this.

Um, it, the match itself takes place on the back of a flatbed trailer which is surrounded by a steel cage with livestock wire and travels around 55 miles per hour on a highway outside-

Oh.

All right.

As you can see, fans, we, well, the, we do understand the King of the Road match has begun.

Dustin Rhodes has made his way out.

They were in, A clinching position for the title.

So Jason Corliss is now a five-time King of the Road.

All of them coming since 2019.

We talked about it last year.

2020

yeah 2020 no

sweet was 21 yeah so Corliss is not one that went the last time Corliss won this race he was a two time king of the road

yeah

but he couldn't shake a feeling of profound wrongness.

He looked down the counter at a man with a thick red beard and a faded trucker cap that read King of the Road.

The man's face was familiar.

Ray had seen it before.
