King of Ashes

Let's start with the undisputed master of this right now, S.A. Cosby.

His book, King of Ashes, was on the Gold Dagger shortlist.

Incredible writer.

Unbelievable.

It was followed by two more critically acclaimed books in the Jimmy Mullen trilogy, One Way Street and Dead End.

His next book, You Can Run, a standalone thriller set in Northumberland Village, was also longlisted for the Theakston Old Peculiar Crime Novel of the Year.

But his latest book, The Angel of Death, is the latest in the DCI Jack Parker series and it's out...

So, you know, obviously buy it, but wait a second because I'll tell you about it first.

Here's the synopsis.

Yeah, enjoy the moments.

Could you tell the listeners a little bit about it?

Yeah, sure.

So King of Ashes tells the story of the Carruthers' siblings, oldest brother Roman, middle sister Nevaeh, baby brother Dante.

At the beginning of the book, Roman is living his best life in Atlanta as a highfalutin financial advisor.
