King Hiss

Still a member of a cosmic clandestine group, this time dubbed the Council of Elders, alongside his brother, Zelar.

Generations ago, the two of them were sent to Eternia to negotiate peace with one of the planet's most ancient races, the Snake Men, led by King Hiss.

And let's just say the negotiations didn't go very well, especially for poor Zelar, whom Hiss devoured alive right in front of Zodak.

The Snake Men were eventually defeated with the combined power of the Elders sealing them away in the void beneath Snake Mountain.

But Zodak never forgot what Hiss had done to his brother, and he went off to meditate in solitude in the Mystic Mountains.

Waiting for the day King Hiss would escape the void, so he could finally have his revenge.

And he meditated for quite some time, around 4,000 years, which admittedly is pretty long.

So I guess you could kind of understand him feigning defeat at the hands of Evil-Lyn, Cobra Khan, and Rattlor in order for them to steal his power staff, the key needed to free King Hiss.

From that one episode when King Hiss turned her into a snake man or that snake woman.

Now, you had a very strong opinion on the character of King Hiss and how you feel like we've flown too far from the sun from that original toy.

Well, I mean, I think in the terms of...

Okay.

It does feel like, it feels, and it also feels like a little bit of like several different versions of figures and characters that we've seen, including Squeeze and that Snake Armor Skeletor that it's just kind of like pulling a lot of that in there.

Very cool looking, but it's just, I loved that general... play feature of popping off faceplate in the arms of the King Hiss.
