So kind of putting that planning in place really started to change my thoughts and my experiences about what I then wanted to do.

I wanted to kind of step into being what I would term like a quarterback of our clients' financial lives.

And so it's not just, you know, looking at the investments in a silo or just looking at, um, you know, how accounts are designated for bene- beneficiaries, but really reviewing how, you know, you work with your accountant.

Does this plan work with your taxes? Does this plan work with your estate plan that you've set up with your lawyer? And having a bit of a relationship with all of those professionals so that I don't have to look any of my clients in the face and say, "You know, we should have thought about this after the fact," 'cause that's what I think I felt a little bit after-

Um, so I have a really great business partner named Jeff, and he has had a very similar experience to me with family at a young age and having to step into a role at, you know, taking on the financial responsibilities.

And I think that that has been one of the best things I've done for my career because when you work with somebody who views the business in the same lens you do, your clients really benefit from understanding why you are passionate about making sure that every stone is turned over.
