Kimballton

Derek Ryshire, the head volleyball coach for the Spartans from Exira-Eakin/Kimballton, and joining us here as they get ready to head into postseason play on Monday.

Coach, it's been a busy last week for you guys, the tournament down in Anita last Saturday, and then the Rolling Valley Conference tournament, and three matches over this past week.

So appreciate you joining us here today, and a lot of matches heading into the postseason play.

Thank you.

You bet.

Head coach again, Derek Raaschour, with the Exira-Eakin/Kimballton Spartan volleyball team.

Pull up and, and search for economic, uh, impact study.

They took nine cities, all the way from Kimballton, Iowa, which I don't remember the population, it's around 500 people, all the way up to bigger cities, and they found that some of the cities hit way above their weight.

Kimballton, the smallest town, provides 1.9% higher, basically nine...

Almost double higher, uh, uh, the amount of revenue that they provide for the state of Iowa through taxation and other things than, than anybody else in that size of city.

And so it's just incredible if you read that study.

Derek Reischauer, the Xyra Elkhorn at Kimballton Volleyball Coach, joining us here today.

Coach, as always, we appreciate your time.

Yeah, thank you, Mason.
