What surprised me the most was that it wasn't quite as I thought it would be.

I thought there'd be long, lazy days and lots of travel and lots of time to myself having worked 40 and 50 hour weeks for 20 odd years.

So when I retired, I retired in 2020.

So COVID hit, a couple of years of uncertainty generally, that was fine.

But I think when I recall, I think about 2023, I really did start thinking my days are filled, but I'm not really sure I'm doing what I'd like to do.
