Kim Hughes

You can forget the context because you just know the clip, right? Test match against the West Indies, second test of three.

That's the series where Kim Hughes has made the very famous hundred at Melbourne, and Australia have won the first test.

They draw the second in Sydney.

Then they go back to the tri-series, the one-day tri-series.

Craig Johnson, Kenny Dalglish, these sort of players.

From a cricketing perspective, Jeff Thompson, Dennis Lillie, Alvin Porter, Kim Hughes, these sort of players, Rodney Marsh.

But yeah, in football, you know, I'd say there was no one in particular, but I just used to be a sponge and just used to love watching all these great players play.

You made your first team debut for St. George at 18.

It's happened again where seven Australian captains have made another humanitarian plea for Imran Khan's better treatment to the Pakistan prime minister.

So these are Alan Border, Greg Chappell, Ian Chappell, Belinda Clark, Kim Hughes, Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh.

So they're clarifying, they're saying, we're not writing as diplomats or political figures, but just former leaders and captains who felt compelled that they need to talk about this.

So they're also saying, do it the right way.

You can get that letter, all of the context at Cricket et al, best independent, uh, print media out there on cricket.

Without a doubt, in my view, but yeah, that was signed by Alan Border, Greg Chappell, Ian Chappell, Belinda Clark, Kim Hu- Kim Hughes, Mark Taylor, and Steve Waugh.

There's other great quotes in there from Michael Holding, Pat Cummins, Brett Lee, et cetera.

So, um, yeah, that, that's, uh, that advocacy from Greg Chappell, um, like rumbles on, which is good.
