Some folks may think of, you know, definitely, definitely.

And one of the things I think about when I think about the bloom is that it.

takes a treasured device that most blind people use have used learned but maybe don't use it as much anymore and it and it connects it to the age of the Internet because it provides that Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity to to the Brailler and it functions as a Braille input keyboard basically once you attach the Bloom which is really pretty easy to do.

You have to remove the bottom cardboard board at the bottom of the Brailler.

There's 11 screws you take out.

The whole Bloom kit comes with a little screwdriver to remove those screws, put them in a safe place, keep them around in case you want to reattach that cardboard someday.

But the Bloom is well made.

Will Perkins have a booth at the exhibit halls or the consumer conferences this summer showing off the bloom?

[laughing] And bingo.

[laughs] That's right, and we also have accessible bingo.

Um, so more details, you get your bingo board from the library, and you can be part of the, the, um, the bi-week, bi-monthly.

It's twice a month, um, bingo, accessible bingo group.

So the DA2 machine is the new player from NLS.

It's the future generation of equipment from the library.

Um, it allows you to be able to download from BARD directly, um, have a lot of books stored on your player.

[laughs]

Once you've got it connected, once you're actually using it, what is it doing for you day to day that, let's say, a refreshable braille display or a, or a standard keyboard wasn't doing?

I think a use case question is absolutely important, and I find that I think of it as a, a braille input keyboard.

Uh, it has, uh, I think made it, um, easier in so many ways to, um, to interact with web, um, forms, just different kinds of inquiries, all of these things you can do if you have the skillsets for, um, using your iPhone.

Um, I was just the other night was on a, on a, doing a task on my iPhone, and it became just so tedious.

I was trying to put, you know, just my, my own email address in on my iPhone, and it kept showing up with a space in it, and I said, "I never hit the space.

What is going..." And I had to do it, like, five times.

And I said, "You know, I would've tried it once or twice with just my iPhone, but if I had had my Bloom right here that I could turn on, I would've finished this job of getting this form filled out with the braille input keyboard of the Bloom and not had to have the frustration that I was having with, you know, like, where did this mysterious space come from when I never hit the space bar?" Um, and just being able to fill in a field with, with confidence.

Um, since you've started using this, what, what has this product meant to you?
