PlayStation is reportedly working on a Killzone remake.

They are reportedly planning to revive the Killzone series with a new remaster or remake currently in the early stages of development.

That's according to MP First, which claims the original Killzone developer Guerrilla Games is working with an external studio on a Killzone remaster quote or slash remake.

The publication speculates that this could be a revamp of the original 2004 game.

According to sources, the Killzone's project was supposed to be Guerrilla's next focus after Horizon Hunter's gathering, but plans changed following the recent decision to allegedly delay that project and pivot away from live service.

Currently, the majority of Guerrilla staff are said to be working on the multiplayer game.

Part of Guerrilla will likely switch to Killzone after, I mean, they're working on They're working on, what was it? I just mentioned it.

You know, some positive PlayStation news maybe.

Um, MP1st kind of tweeted this out, "A new Killzone project is in the very early stages of prod- uh, production.

Uh, Guerrilla Games is working on bringing the Killzone series back with the help of external team." Kinda the rumor right now is People Can Fly is the external team.

I'd have to imagine Fusion is probably a remake of Killzone 1.

Yeah, no, sure.

So the rumor is that the Killzone game that we talked about last week is in early stages of development with Guerrilla Games and an external studio.

That external studio is People Can Fly.

For those who don't know who People Can Fly are, they are the people that made The Outsiders, that third-person game that was one of the first games that went to Game Pass as a third-party thing, as far as I'm aware.

But yeah, people can fly.

But it hasn't been said if this is going to be a reboot or a remake.

Preferably a reboot because Killzone 1 isn't particularly good.

And even if you try to remake that game, it isn't even going to be good in that way because of the story and stuff.

We don't need to bring them in there to ask certain questions.

And I did see there was a rumor that they were trying to bring back Killzone.

I think that PlayStation needs to go back and see what are the titles that worked for us in the past.

Maybe we should consider exploring these titles further because I think a new Killzone and a SOCOM, that would be interesting to see how those games would do now.

But again...

I only gave things that they can do because the no disc thing, they ain't reverting that decision.

There was a story that came out last week that Sony might be bringing back Killzone.

What? Why?

It's arrogant Sony.

I still don't understand how they're still in business after Outriders.

People can fly, made a deal with Sony back in March to do something that has not been announced yet.

and it is possible that what they might be doing is a remake of the first Killzone because Sony does not understand that nobody actually wants to play Killzone.

Actually, Killzone Shadowfall was a fun game, and I really liked that game a lot.
