We started with Discovery, and now we've worked our way up all the way here to look at the

series Killjoys.

And we're in the final stretch.

Killjoy's got five seasons, we are covering season five, and we are up to episode

I feel the burden of we need these pieces in place.

We need to make sure that characters have had these revelations or these personal pieces of growth.

And one of the recurring issues we've had in Killjoys, and it's certainly just dawning on me right now as I'm talking, is this isn't new with an episode in which a character goes back to their home and has to confront their family.

We had that last season.

And one of the terms and conditions may say something like, you agree not to test the TV for security vulnerabilities and find flaws.

Killjoys.

Yeah, killjoys, exactly.

They're doing the best they can, but the usual razzle-dazzle of Killjoys was very much lacking here when it came to overlooking the budgetary constraints or just appreciating what they do have.

You just can't help but be like, oh, okay, this is what they had here.

But I am excited to see if slash how they pull this all together and what it's going to end up like.

It's always brought up because in case of people who are not regular listeners of the podcast, but I saw Killjoys when it was initially airing.

And this season in particular, I have very strong memories of because it was the final season.

And we knew it was the final season.

It comes to no surprise to me that one of her first roles on screen was a part in a 2016 episode of the Canadian sci-fi action series Killjoys.

I don't recall if she got to do much butt-kicking that episode, but maybe the seed was planted there and we have gotten to enjoy the fruit.
